Hosts Tim and Grace, are very welcoming and have lots of tips on where to go and what to see. Tim is a landscape photographer and the house is full of his work. Tim also has a photographic studio where his photographic work is displayed and available for purchase. Tim also offers photographic tuition.

On a working croft with sheep and horses, which also is the family home of Donna and Andrew and their young family. In the village of Peiness, only 10 minutes drive away from Portree, surrounded by fabulous scenery.

Kiltaraglen House is run by Kevin & Pam Simmister who have over 30 years experience of running accommodation on Skye. There are two lovely bed and breakfast rooms within the house itself. Raasay is a king size double bedroom with en-suite shower-room, (no bath tub). It has velux windows in both the bathroom and bedroom and in the oldest part of the house. Skye has views over the front garden and can be either be a king size double or a twin bedroom, depending on preference (please advise at the time of booking). There is a small en-suite bathroom with a restricted height shower above the bath. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a television.

Luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in the township of Edinbane, on the banks of Loch Greshnorish. The owners Hilary and Peter have customer care at the heart of this family run business. They are only too happy to help with siteseeing and planning walks. The guest house is close to two of the best restuarants on Skye, the Edinbane Inn and the Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan. The area is a haven for wildlife and otters can often be seen down by the loch. Dunvegan Castle is not far away and the coral beach is nearby. Portree is only 15 minutes by car.
The accommodation consists of three rooms. One double bedroom with en-suite, double/twin bedroom with en-suite and a single bedroom again with en-suite. All en-suites have spacious shower cubicles, a hairdryer, heated towel rails with large warm bath sheets and cosy bathrobes. Modern purpose built accommodation on a working croft, home produced food is a speciality here. The owners raise their own pigs and serve homemade sausages and home cured bacon when available. There are also ducks and chickens on the croft, so free range eggs for breakfast will not be a problem. They have been awarded ‘Taste our Best’ accreditation and serve a variety of home cooked foods.
The house enjoys an elevated position and has sea views across Loch Greshornish, to Loch Snizort, Uig Bay and the Outer Isles of Harris and Lewis.
