Alasdair has extensive local knowledge, both the immediate locality of Avernish and Nostie, and the wider area. I can provide annotated maps of beautiful local walks. Sometimes overlooked as a holiday destination because of nearby Skye, the Loch Alsh area in itself is truly worth a full holiday.
We are just 10 miles from the famous picturesque village of Plockton by Loch Carron, and 10 miles from Shiel Bridge for climbing the famous Kintail Ridge and Five Sisters of Kintail. Eilean Donan Castle at Dornie, is just 3 miles. The Skye Bridge is 8 miles.
The main double bedroom has superb views across Loch Alsh. There is also a single/twin room. The garden, which you are welcome to use, has direct access to the shore via a small gate. We offer easy guided walks, and creativity retreats too.
